Route 1 Loch Morlich 6 km circular route
Length of route: 6 km (3 mi)
Suitable for: Walking, Cycling, Running
Details: Start and finish at the metal bridge on the track to Rothiemurhus Lodge. The route can be done clockwise or anti-clockwise. The route is about 6Km long and suitable in all areas for running, walking or cycling on MTB.

Route 2 Whitewell 10 km circular route
Length of route: 10 km (6 mi) one way, 18 km (11 mi) return
Suitable for: Walking, Cycling, Running, Horse-riding
Details: Start/finish at the Inverdruie car park opposite the Rothiemurchus Visitor Centre. Follow the cycle path east to the Rothiemurchus Campsite then take the obvious track south. At the forked junction by the cairn take the right track and follow it to the track junction as the ground to your right opens up. Turn left here towards the iron bridge and take the first track left heading north. This brings you back to the forked junction and cairn. Retrace your route back to the car park

Route 3 Race the Steam Train
Length of route. 19.6Km (12.178 mi) one way
Suitable for: Walking, Cycling, Running.
Details: Catch the Steam Train from Aviemore Station to the end of the line at Broomhill Station for a nice relaxing journey out to the start of your run. A one-way ticket is very cheap although there is discount for large groups. Follow the Speyside Way all the way back to Aviemore along quiet country lanes until you reach the forest roads of Abernethy Forest. The rest of the route is on nice forest tracks and occasional country lane all the way back into Aviemore. The follow Grampian road back to Aviemore Train Station. This is a delightful linear run with a mixture of everything.

Route 4 Loch Garten forest and Loch run
Length of route: 8 km (5 mi) one way, 16 km (10 mi) return
Suitable for: Walking, Cycling, Running, Horse-riding
Details: Start at the car park opposite the cross roads. Run down hill and under the pylons, up hill to the junction and turn right. Follow the track to a small path junction and turn left on the path into the woods. Follow this path to Loch Mallachie and turn left and on the main track turn right and follow the track uphill to the west of Loch Garten. At the barrier adjacent to the car park follow a small path left towards the road. Follow a small path parallel to the road to a barrier on a track junction. Turn left here and follow a track to the first junction you turned right at but go straight on and follow the path under the pylon back to your car.

Route 5 Nethy Bridge to Glenmore Cafe
Length of route: 16 km (10 mi)
Suitable for: Walking, Cycling, Running, Horse-riding
Details: Start at the Nethy Bridge Hotel. Follow the road south over the river and take the road immediately on the left (Spar shop on the corner). Follow this quiet lane all the way to Dell Lodge where the road becomes a forest track. Follow this track south to the obvious track junction. Turn left up a steep hill past Lyngarrie on down hill to Forest Lodge. Be careful to take the right track here that follows due south and handrails the River Nethy on your left (east). Follow the same track until you break out of the forest and then across the moor past Ryvoan Bothy an dAn Lochan Uaine (the Green Lochan) and then the track turns SW towards Glenmore Lodge on good track. At the lodge pick up the cycle path to the north but paralleling the road to Glenmore. Finish at the Glenmore Cafe, Reindeer Centre and car park.
