Training night stretching exercises

For Monday and Wednesday club nights we meet at:

Mondays - Beginners, 6.30pm
5k max, approx 30-40 mins includes run/walk.
The focus for Monday nights is very much on beginners, but if sufficient coaches are available we may be able to offer a run-all-the-way option as well as run/walk options.

Wednesdays - 6.30pm
A full programme of Wednesday activities is being developed to include fitness, hill work, reps, 5k time trials and various runs!

Absolute Beginners - Informal Sessions
Jeannette Meldrum is organising some informal sessions for absolute beginners. These sessions will combine walking and gentle running and will be no longer than 3k (less than 2 miles) in distance. If you would like to know more, please contact Jeanette. NB Meeting point may vary, please check if in doubt!

Sundays - Distance Training Runs, 10am
Distances: 12k+
Meet at: Car Park opposite Rothiemurchus Visitor Centre
Steve Wall is leading informal, longer distance Sunday runs. Individuals need to be able to comfortably run 12km in 1hr 20 mins non-stop. These are "long, slow, duration" runs for those wishing to build up their duration in preparation for the Aviemore Highland Half Marathon, with the aim to increase distance about 5% per week.
